Rank List of Engineering Colleges - Released By Anna University!

Anna University has launched the rank list of its allied colleges on its Website.
The ranking is mainly based on the pass ratio of the first three semesters, starting from November 2012 to till now, as per the Website.
The ranking list is just a sign of the academic achievements in the past few semesters, say many professors in the university.
The High Court Judgment has ordered the university to release the ranking list of the colleges based on the academic concert and also the pass ratios of nearly 506 non- autonomous colleges for the following three semesters including December to January 2012; April to May 2013 and December to January 2013 semesters.
In the top 10 list, only three colleges in and around Chennai take place namely: Sri Sairam Engineering College; Sri Sai Ram Institute of Technology and Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering. In the top 20 lists, two well known Colleges namely Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College and R.M.D. Engineering College take its position.

This rank list will not be adequate enough for students to select colleges during counseling and various other criteria’s like college infrastructure, surroundings suitable for students and professors ought to be considered, says Principal of the Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College.
