Announcement on PF Pension this week

The central government labour ministry had recommended that the minimum of at least Rs. 1000/- must be paid as PF pension.
The finance ministry had approved this proposal.
As a new government has taken over after the recent parliamentary elections, sources from the Ministry for Labour expect that announcement on PF pension will be released during this week.
The revision would be effective from 1st April.
The central government has provided the funds of Rs. 1,217 Crores. This amount is a new record high.
