Admissions Open for M.Ed Postal Course in Barathiyar University

Coimbatore Barathiyar University has introduced the M.Ed course in the list of distance education, for this academic year. University starts the issuance of the application form for this course. Applicants who have B.Ed degree and two years of teaching experience can apply for this course.
The candidates who are interested to take up this M.Ed postal course, at present have to work in any government schools or government aided schools or authorized private schools.
Previously, the criteria framed by the government to take up this course, is to secure 55% minimum in their B.Ed degree.
Currently, the mark criteria has loosened down to 50% in B.Ed is adequate enough to take up the M.Ed distance course, says P K Manoharan, registrar of the Barathiyar University.
Application should reach the officials on or before 4 July. The Entrance exam date has been declared as on 20 July.
