Two years concession in the age limit for appearing in IAS exams for all classes!

A concession of 2 years has been introduced from this year for entering IAS & Civil Service exams. This is valid for all categories.

UPSC has introduced some great changes to be made in the ICS exams for this year. 2 more chances are being given for all categories including the open competitors; also, the age limit has been raised by 2 years for all categories.

As per this new rule, open candidates can write IAS up to the age of 32 years. They can attempt 6 times. OBC classes can write up to the age of 35 years. They can attempt 9 times. SC & St classes can write up to the age of 39 years. They can attempt 37 times.

Exam details to be announced on 31st May

The above changes are being introduced for the Civil Services Exams scheduled to be conducted this year. Details will be released on 31st May. UPSC has announced that there are no other changes in the exam process or the syllabus.
