Diversions in traffic on Harrington Road from today

In order to facilitate the paving of Harrington Road with concrete, the Chennai traffic police has introduced certain traffic arrangements.The new one-way arrangements will come into effect from Saturday.
As per the traffic plan, vehicles proceeding from E.V.R. Periyar Salai towards Chetpet junction via Harrington subway will be allowed, whereas vehicles bound for E.V.R. Periyar Salai from Chetpet junction will not be allowed.
With the intersection of 15th Avenue and Harrington Road to be closed for any traffic, residents of the avenue will have to take 3rd Lane of McNichols Road and travel through Dr. Gurusamy Bridge and E.V.R. Periyar Salai to reach Harrington Road.
Those vehicles bound for Harrington subway from Chetpet junction will be diverted through Dr. Gurusamy Bridge and E.V.R. Periyar Salai to reach Harrington Road.
