Students show interest in joining Arts & science Courses than engineering colleges!

The students are competing to join in Arts & Science courses this year. Students who are excellent in English language have great opportunities to get immediate jobs.
Engineering Colleges
There are 570 engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. +2 students have started applying for these colleges. Students are also applying for medical & veterinary colleges.
However, the number of students applying for Arts & Science courses is quite large.
For male students, Loyola & Vivekananda are popular. Ethiraj, Stella Maris, MOP Vaishnav, and Women’s Christian are popular colleges for female students.
Some of the colleges have released the first selection list for admissions. 2nd list is under preparation. Admissions are based on the marks obtained and the reservation quotas.
High Marks
Students who have the ‘cut-off’ marks join quality engineering colleges and get good jobs after completing their courses. However, students who do not have the ‘cut-off’ marks are constrained to join the inferior set of colleges and most of them remain jobless after completing their courses.
Severe competition to join B. Com
Good marks required are required for joining eve n in Arts & Sciences Courses. There several specialisations in B. Com. Course. There is intense competition to join B. Com course in bothe Government & private Arts colleges.
B. Sc. (Computer Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Visual Communications) courses are also popular.
As there are plenty of seats available, a student can join engineering courses even with relatively low marks. However, plenty of engineering graduates are struggling without jobs. This has led to increased competition to join Arts & Science Courses.
Whatever be the course, good communication skills in English fetches immediate jobs. Many colleges have evinced interest in English Communication courses.
