Dialysis from home, a new stride by Stanley hospitals

Stanley hospital has taken initiative for availing dialysis (blood purification process) for patients right at their homes. It is necessary for patients with kidney failure to undergo dialysis on a regular basis. This requires inserting artificial vessels to the patient’s blood vessels which in turn would require the presence of patient in the hospital for couple of days. Additionally, frequent visit to the hospital is necessary. This certainly will affect the routine life of patients and would be troublesome. Considering such difficulties faced by people, Stanley hospitals has come up with a new method of dialysis at home.
In this, a small tube containing three holes would be fixed at the lower part of stomach. A fluid will then be made to flow inside one of the holes in this tube and the purification process takes place. On completion, the impure fluid gets exited from the second hole. The third hole can then be used for injecting medicines or others as required for the patient. This eliminates the need for the patient to visit the hospital frequently and also saves lot of time.\\q
