Bus-passes issued last year for students will be valid till August!

The transport department has issued a circular that the old passes will continue to be valid for the first 3 months after the schools reopening for the next academic year.
Free bus passes are being issued by the government to all the students of all government schools & government-aided schools.
Usually, the new bus passes are issued only 2 months after the reopening of schools. The education department took all necessary action to distributed the free bus passes on the day of reopening itself. It had asked all schools to prepare & send the list of students to the transport department.
However, time will be required to prepare the list & print the free bus passes. So, the government has ordered that the old free bus passes will be valid till August.
The education department officials informed:
The government has permitted all the students to use the old free bus passes till August. If the old bus passes had been lost, the buses should allow the students to travel if they wear the right uniforms.
