Online reservation of retiring rooms

The Railways began this in Mumbia. Now it has extended the facility of booking retiring rooms to 67 junctions through online and terminals at various junctions.
The 67 junctions include Chennai Central, Egmore, Madurai, Coimbatore and Rameswaram. Passengers wanting to book rooms should access http://www.railtourismindia.com/. comand make use of the booking, cancellation, upgrade and extension applications.
The rooms can be booked 60 days in advance by keying in the PNR Numbers of the source and destination stations. However, the facility could be availed only if the ticket is confirmed or RAC.
