Secure from the suffering of Low Voltage Fluctuations – TANGEDCO
For the past few months, the residents of the Sarathy Nagar in Velachery have been facing the difficulty of stern voltage fluctuations.
Due to the extreme power demand from the air-conditioners, this low voltage problem prevails across the city.
Fortunately, residents have been secured from the torment since the TANGEDCO has mounted in the Automatic Power Factor Controllers (APFCs) in supply transformers across the vicinity.
The APFCs in addition to its low voltage preventing property, assists in enhancing the scattering network by lessening the transmission demises, said a TANGEDCO official.
Also, both the efficacy and the life-span of the transformers can also be extended.
Nearly about 70% of the APFCs installation works have been accomplished, said a senior official of TANGEDCO.
