Tamil Nadu – 3 new ministers to be sworn in today

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has recommended yesterday to the governor that the Minister for Agriculture, Mr. S. Damodaran, the Minister for Employees Welfare, Mr. K. T. Pachaimal, and the mister for revenue, Mr. P V Ramana be removed from her cabinet.
The Chief Minister also nominated Mr. S S Agri Krishnamurthy (MLA from Kalsapakkam), Mr. S P Velumani (MLA from Thondamuthur), and Ms. S Gokula Indira (MLA from Anna Nagar) should be inducted into the cabinet.
The following is the detail of portfolios allotted to the new ministers and other changes:
- Mr. S S Agri Krishnamurthy – Agriculture
- Mr. S P Velumani – City Administration & Rural Development
- Mr. K P Munusamy – Employees Welfare
- Ms. S Gokula Indira – Handloom & Textiles
- Mr. R P Udhayakumar – Revenue
- Dr. S Sundarraj – Sports & Development
The new ministers will be sworn in today.This is the 13th change since this government was formed.
