Narendra Modi to assume office on 21st May

Following the victory of BJP in the elections, the prime-minister designate, Mr. Narendra Modi visited Vadodara (Baroda) constituency and thanked the voters.

Mr. Modi will visit Varanasi tomorrow to thank the voters in the constituency. He will also pray at the temple of Lord Kasi Viswanath.

Mr. Narendra Modi will resign his current position as the Chief Minister of Gujarat and proceed to Delhi. It is reported that Mr. Modi is set to assume office as Prime Minister of India on Wednesday, 21st May.

The assumption of office will be a simple ceremony conducted at Rashtrapathi Bhavan. Central Government officials have already started making arrangements for the ‘swearing-in’ ceremony.

Mr. Modi has sent a message in the Tweeter. He has observed that ‘BJP’s victory is India’s win! Everything will be fine in the future. Good times are ahead!’
