College application made easy for students

Rushing up to the colleges to grab their application form and post their application with the college after knowing their class 12 results were scenes in older days. Now, the scenario is entirely changed with the advent of online media. Candidates sit back at home and relaxingly register their names through the option of online application with top colleges like Anna University, Sasthra, etc.
Speaking to a post graduate student of a private college, she says she had to stand in a long queue from 4.30 am for getting the application form. But, now the entire scene is changed and the online media paves way for the students to relax and post applications, she adds.
Though the online choice is beneficial in saving time and efforts, the students fail to have the opportunity to know the staff members, premises and other details about the college they apply for.
