ELECTRICITY BILLS CAN BE PAID IN POST OFFICES

The
service was launched in Annanagar post
office by the Finance secretary on
Monday. Consumers of Chennai city now
henceforth or pay their TNEB bills at the post Offices by producing Electricity
Meter reading card. Rs 5 as service charge would be received. Top alert with
AnnaNagar and Annasalai Head Post would receive the payments . Based on the
response the service will extend to other areas, said C P Singh, The Chairman
TNEB.
