Chennaites can likely to get one more day of rain can expect at least one more day of rain, thanks to the low pressure area that has moved from the Bay of Bengal to the south east Arabian Sea, off the Kerala coast. Chennai experienced pleasant weather with light showers on Thursday, with the maximum temperature being a moderate 33.6 degrees Celsius.
Regional Meteorological Centre director S R Ramanan said “Several areas in interior TN will experience moderate to heavy showers in the next 24 hours while a few areas in coastal TN and Puducherry will get light to moderate showers.”
