Actress Varalakshmi, the daughter of Supreme star, Sarath Kumar, further to her debut in ‘Poda Podi’ against Simbu, did not make any noteworthy performances. She however received good response and appreciation for her role right in the first movie. The next flick she was roped in was ‘Madha Gaja Raja’ which unexpectedly got stuck owing to financial issues. The actress later slewed her target towards a Kannada movie, ‘Maanikya’ with ‘Naan Ee’ fame Sudheep which then became super hit and her role was well talked about too.
Her career in cine field then reached a milestone with a wonderful opportunity to play a role in national award winning director, Bala’s upcoming flick, ‘Tharai Thappatai’. The actress, as she is stout, is instructed by the director to reduce nearly 10 kgs. The actress says she has already reduced 6 kgs and is working to reduce more. The actress is also attending rehearsals to give her best in the ‘dream role’ since one month. She says she accepted the role just because the call was from director bala and that she doesn’t know about the story or her role yet.
