+2 results to be released tomorrow (9th May) – Can be seen on all internet web-sites

The examination board has made all arrangements to know the results of the +2 exams on-line from different websites.

8,12,000 students had written +2 exams from the 5,844 high schools in Tamil Nadu.

+2 exams were conducted from 3rd march to 25th March. Apart from the students from the high schools, 1,00,000 private candidates also appeared for the exams.

58 prisoners from different prisons also wrote +2 exams.

1100 differently-abled persons including those suffering from dyslexia also wrote +2 exams.

The answer-paper correction work started on 10th March as soon as the language papers were written. By end march, the marks were sent to the Data Centre at Chennai Kotturpuram to enable relapse of results.

The examination Board has already announced last month itself that the results would be released on 9th May. Accordingly, the results are set to be released by the Examination Board Director, Mr. Nagarajan at the DPI tomorrow (9th may) at 10.00 AM.

+2 results are usually released every year by both the government websites as well as several private websites. However, this year, the results can be seen only from the government websites online from 10.00 AM tomorrow.

Further, the results can be seen from the websites of the offices of the district collectors, National Information Centres, and Government Branch Libraries free of charge.
The students can get the results from their schools.

Re-evaluation or copy of answer sheet

Students who had written +2 can apply for a copy of their answer sheets on any subject and also for re-evaluation. They have to apply between 9thMay & 14th May.

The students who apply for a copy of the answer sheet for a particular subject cannot ask for re-evaluation. That can be done after the receipt of the copy of the answer sheet.

Charges

Rs. 550/- per subject for – Part 1 (Language), Part 2 (English)

Rs. 275/- for all other subjects
