Summer rains are known for thunder and lightning. How to protect from lightning strikes?
In simple terms, lightning is nothing but electricity. Lighting occurs more frequently during summer rains.
While we cannot prevent lightning, we can take some safe measures to protect from it.
If it is raining with thunder & lightning, refrain from going out of the house. Postpone your programme.
You must avoid standing near or under tall trees, electric poles, cell-phone towers, amd metallic rods or poles.
It is dangerous to work on gadgets like televisions during the moments when there are lightning streaks
