MORE ENGINEERING COLLEGES IN TAMILNADU

As per P Mannar Jawahar, Vice Chancellor, Anna University and Regional Chairman, AICTE, around 100 applications have been received for starting new Engineering Colleges in Tamilnadu. With last date for application has been extended to 28th February more application are expected to be submitted. It will interesting to see how AICTE and the Government are going address  faculty problem and even number of students opting for Engineering. According last year figures more 50000 seats in about 440 engineering colleges went vacant.
