EC regulations for Alandur by-election

The chief electoral officer of Tamil Nadu has issued a set of regulations for the by-election in Alandur legislative assembly constituency to be held on April 24. The official statement said no public meetings or processions can be allowed in connection with the election from 6pm onwards on April 22. Musical concerts and entertainment programmes in connection with the election have been banned.
