Just sunlight is enough for internet connection!!

We have a computer in home. Internet connection is also available. But there is no power! We get frustrated! Inverters are installed in some homes. What happens if a person is away from home? How to get power for the internet connection?
Computer experts have started researching for solutions. Researchers from Edinburgh University, London inform that solar power would be sufficient to connect & operate on the internet for information exchange.
In their research, they have achieved remarkable success. They are researching further to develop a technology using solar panels to maximize the use of internet & exchange of communication.
Internet connection would be possible in remote areas where there is no power connection through cables or overhead connection. The power required can be taken from the solar panels.
If this technology is used in practice, it is easy to handle any emergencies. We need not depend of electric power availability.
This technology is called Li-Fi. Solar power will be used to operate LEDs which will help information exchange.
Professor Herald Haus, a pioneer in electronic communication , lectured this topic in the International Science Festival in Edinburgh.
One is left feeling how beneficial it will be if this technology is available in the present power shortage period in Tamil Nadu!
