‘Spaces’- Mission to Bound Nature within the Homes

About 20 women, including Shainika, Varsha, Aparna, Uma and Kavita owns a new business model on a mission to bring Chennaiites nearer to the nature within their residences.
Their job is to put in your own space a happier one, irrespective of the size of your home. That’s why this project has got its term as ‘Spaces’.
For a long-time myself and Varsha, had an idea of execution of this group, Stated Shainika Murthy, head of planning and execution at Spaces. Then it took time for us to leave our job and initiate this group. Latterly, Aparna, Uma and Kavita joined us, she added.
This project is to set up all sorts of gardens varying from herbal spots to floral landscapes. Main good point is that, this design will be accommodated in a narrow spaces like terrace gardens, potted balcony spaces and kitchen plant boxes.
The group says that they have fruitfully case gardens in houses as well as in the corporation schools to teach the children on the environment and also acquire prop up from Rotary Club.
With their successful completion of their innovative project termed ‘Green Labs’, the Spaces group won the competition conducted by ‘Bhoomi’.
This is an activity-rooted subject with an appropriate syllabus and we are annoying to bring in this course as a part of the curriculum in the schools, she added.
