First Peephole Invasive Treatment – Omandurar Government Hospital
On Thursday, the new ensconced bi-plane neurovascular catheterization laboratory division at the Multi Specialty Government Hospital at Omandurar plays its first interventional operandi.

Across the state, this is the first government hospital with its laboratory division which lay concrete for keyhole invasive process from top to bottom.
This peephole procedure will be opting for the patients who have vascular abnormality in the brain. These procedures will help to rectify several syndromes like fistula, vascular brain tumors or aneurysm without the need to open the brain.
We can also perform treatments on patients with keen stroke for taking away of blood clots. This procedure will be done via placing a small notch in the skin, like a small eyehole surgery, said a senior doctor at the hospital.
Several conditions including stroke, hemorrhage, haemoptysis, blood while vomiting, excessive bleeding from the vagina and post-caesarean bleeding, pain while walking, blood in the sputum from the lungs, cerebral, will get benefit through this procedure, he added.
In addition this laboratory has bi-plane cardiac facilities. This super-specialty division has been launched during February. Till now it has 150 in patients and 250-300 out patients for consultation every day.
