Sports Development of Authority of Tamil Nadu invites applications for Sports Hostel Facilities

Students studying in classes 7, 8, 9 and 11 are eligible to join the sports hostels.The Sports Development of Authority of Tamil Nadu has invited applications from students for the 23rd sports hostels functioning across the state.
The district level selection will be conducted between May 2 and 5. Those interested can contact the district sports officers of their respective district headquarters. Preference will be given to students who had won national/ State or district level medals.
Location of the hostels and the disciplines are as follows: (For boys) Tiruchirapalli (Athletics, Boxing, Football, Hockey, Swimming and Volley Ball), Tirunelveli (Athletics, Basketball, Boxing, Hockey, Swimming and Volleyball), Madurai (Athletics, Basketball, Boxing, Hockey, Swimming and Volleyball), GBHSS Putthur, Chennai (Cricket), Krishnagiri (Athletics, Football, Handball, Taekwondo), YMCA Nandanam, Chennai (Boxing, Football, Hockey), NLC/Neyveli (Athletics, Basketball, Football), Selvam HSS, Namakkal (Fencing), Coimbatore (Athletics, Basketball, Gymnastics, Volleyball), Thanjavur (Basketball, Volleyball, Weightlifting), Cuddalore (Athletics, Shuttle Badminton, Taekwondo), Ariyalur (Hockey, Handball, Weightlifting), Thoothukudi (Athletics, Basketball), Sivaganga (Athletics, Football), Theni (Basketball, Kabaddi).
For girls— Erode (Athletics, Football, Volley Ball), Tiruvannamalai (Athletics, Basketball, Handball, Hockey), Selvam HSS, Namakkal (Athletics, Fencing), Bharathi Vidyabhavan, MHSS, Erode (Basketball), Dindigul (Athletics, Basketball, Football), Nagercoil (Athletics, Volleyball, Weightlifting), Tennis Stadium, Nungambakkam (Tennis, Volleyball), Namakkal (Kabaddi, Football), Perambalur (Athletics, Handball), Theni (Volleyball).
The last date for the submission of application is April 25.
