Increase in the number of autos available on SMS

The company SMS Auto services, which provides autos at the callers’ doorsteps on SMS, has informed that there are 1000 autos operating under this service.
Payment as per the meter has been made compulsory in Chennai City. However, most auto drivers do not run the meter. Companies like ‘People’s Auto’ & ‘Namma auto’ have started strictly operating on meter payment and they are popular.
SMS auto services was formed during November last year (2013). People who want auto can send sms from their place and get the auto to that place. 044-45554666 is the number to know more about the service.
The company started running 100 autos on a test basis. Currently, the number of autos has increased to 1000.
The founder of SMS Auto Services, Mr. Sridharan, informed:
We are determined to run the autos on meter payment. For providing the service of coming to the caller’s place, Rs.10/- is charged in excess of the meter charges. We have received excellent response from the public. We have 1000 autos in operation now.
