Smart cards to be provided to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams donors

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) management is planning to provide Smart Cards to its donors who have been generously donating huge amounts to its various trusts and schemes.
Disclosing this, TTD Executive Officer M.G. Gopal on Wednesday said that the idea behind introduction of the smart cards was to enable the donors avail of all the privileges to which they are entitled, through a single window. Inaugurating the modernised donor cell at its new premises in the TTD’s Adi Seshu guest house, Mr. Gopal said initially the smart cards will be provided to donors who have donated Rs. 5 lakh and above. The cards will be then made available to all the donors (in a phased manner) who, according to the available database, stand around 28,700. On the occasion, he also thanked the donors who generously endowed huge funds to the TTD’s Anna Prasadam, Go Samrakshana, Pranadanam, Arogyavarapradasadini and other trusts.
Joint Executive Officers K.S. Srinivasa Raju, Pola Bhaskar, CVSO G. Srinivas and other officials took part.
