Those erring telemarketers whose numbers are barred because of making unauthorized and unsolicited commercial calls can now breather with the TRAI�s new restoration plan. Pay Rs 500 to get back your connection. Decision on disconnecting the connection was made on finding mammoth number of unwanted calls and messages. In a recent notification, TRAI has stated that any subscriber can get back his or her connection back if the request is made within thirty days of disconnection and that the restoration would cost Rs 500 per connection.
It also added that the subscriber should have taken necessary steps to not make such calls anymore. However, it is also to be noted that there is no considerable reduction in number of calls despite several notifications and warnings by TRAI. The telemarketers make use of routing messages from abroad. This is considered as one of the easiest methods to make calls and messages for telemarketing purposes.
