Nearly 1.9 Lakh Applicants Appears – VIT Entrance Exam
Vellore Institute of Technology has opened its admission program for the candidates on B.Tech curriculum. Nearly 1, 93,790 candidates have been registered for the entrance exam. It will be held in 137 centres across 112 cities dating from 9 April to 20 April.
On seeing many applications from the Middle East
from the past history, this year, the entrance exam will also be seized in Dubai
and Kuwait.
The list of the registrations includes:
- Andhra Pradesh – 37,298 (Maximum)
- Uttar Pradesh - 28,337
- Bihar - 18,861
- Maharashtra - 14,801
- Rajasthan - 12,839
- Tamil Nadu - 12,555
The results of the examinations will be revealed on
or before April 28 online at www.vit.ac.in, www.schools9.com , www.indiaresults.com, www.minglebox.com, www.shiksha.com, www.bharathedu.com, www.examresults.net .
From May 19 to 22, counseling for the admissions
will be held on. Counseling dates details revealed by VIT chancellor G
Viswanathan include:
- Ranks up to 8000 – May 19
- Ranks up to 12000 – May 20
- Ranks up to 16000 – May 21
- Ranks up to 20000 – May 22
The university proffers erudition for exemplary students. The chancellor confirmed that both the central and state board top rank holders would be honored a 100 % fee waiver for all the four years.
