Special arrangements at district science centre to view planet Mars

Today, between 7 to 8 in the evening, the planet Mars would come closer to our earth. Owing to this occurrence, the district science centre has made special arrangements for the public to view the same from here. Mars will be completely illuminated with sun’s radiations and hence would appear larger and brighter. The planet will remain visible throughout the night. The distance between earth and mars will be 9.2 crore km at the time and it will be positioned in Virgo constellation. Telescopes present here will take snaps of mars at right positions.
