Google Unveil New Tool to Access Information of Lok Sabha Candidates

On Tuesday, Google the popular search engine has unveiled the new tool termed ‘Know Your Candidates’, through which the voters can enough information about their constituency Lok Sabha candidates and also about their present sitting Member of the Parliament.
This tool assimilates the information available about the candidates of the Lok Sabha, from various sources including Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), Liberty Institute India and PRS Legislative Research.

This has been a five month project, once we started gathering information about the forthcoming election and about the constituency members by landing on a single target Webpage, said Rajan Anandan, VP and Managing Director of Google India.
This tool wraps the various information of the contesting MP and candidates of the Lok Sabha including their educational status, social media existence and financial facts and so on.
By mapping on to the Google Map edges, populace can able to track the data of the candidates either by means of the pin codes of their respective areas or by accounting zoom facility on the map.
We will take care of updating the information regularly, till the final week before voting day for each and every constituency, the release boosted up.
