HDFC Bank Conducts 50th Coin Mela in Chennai

HDFC Bank organized its 50th Coin Mela at Parrys branch in the city, which aimed at distributing coins to the public and to provide fresh currency notes in exchange for soiled and mutilated ones.
The bank distributed coins worth Rs 6.5 crore during this financial year, of which Rs 2.58 cr worth of coins were distributed at such melas, the first of which took place in April 2013.
