CHEMICALS TO BE USED TO WARD OFF MOSQUITOES

Corporation of Chennai is embarking on a new project to eliminate the menace of mosquitoes. To eradicate mosquitoes the Corporation already uses various form insecticides on stagnant waters spots. The insecticides are also sprayed alongside Goovam River. The new method of letting Chemical into drainage stream will eliminate mosquito’s eggs from breeding. This would be tested, studied before implementing in full scale as per Corporation official.
