Press Information Bureau releases ‘General Elections 2014-Reference Handbook’

A reference hand book called ‘General Elections 2014-Reference Handbook’ was released by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) on Thursday. This handbook will provide information about the Lok Sabha polls. It was released in Delhi, and a Tamil version was released simultaneously in Chennai. It explains various aspects of general elections including systematic voters’ education and electoral participation, none of the above (NOTA), voter verifiable paper audit trail and model code of conduct and has FAQs on election management. A digital version of the handbook is available on the PIB website (www.pibchennai.gov.in) in Tamil and English.
