Santhanam escaped a minor injury

Santhanam, the hilarious actor, escaped from getting injured during a shooting sequence for his film with Srinath, Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham.
The sequence was planned at Kumbakonam. During the shoot, he had to carry water cans to houses in a cycle. Instead of placing empty cans, the art department placed cans filled with water. Santhanam, wanting to finish off the scene as quick as possible before the public throng into the field, drove the cycle at great speed. The cycle unfortunately collapsed because of heavy load on cycle, front tyre lifted up and was about to hit his face. However, the spot boys were of help to save the actor from getting injured and caught hold of him before anything bad happened to him.
