Some of the important buildings including Ripon Buildings to go blue on Autism Day

In order to observe World Autism Awareness Day on 2nd April twenty-one buildings in the city, including Ripon Buildings, will be decked up in blue lights on the night.The city will join other metros in the country and famous monuments across the globe like the Great Pyramids and the Sydney Opera House.
In Chennai, the practice began in 2011 and is organized every year by We CAN (Challenge Autism Now) and SPASTIN (Spastic Society of Tamil Nadu).
Other buildings that will go blue on Autism Day include the office of the director general of police on Radhakrishnan Salai, Savera Hotel, Gatsby in Neelankarai , Anokhi on Chamiers Road, Mecheri Centre on Eldams Road, Sathyam Cinemas, Apollo Specialty Hospital in Nandanam, Express Avenue Mall and IIT-M campus.
