Are you still wondering if your name figures on the electoral rolls at the time the Polls have been declared? Come March 9, all eligible voters can verify their names on the rolls and apply for enrollment, if not registered, at their respective polling stations. The Election Commission has promised to dispose of these applications in time to enable voting in the coming general elections.
Chief Election Commissioner V S Sampath on Wednesday said though the electoral rolls – with January 1 as the qualifying date–had been published, missing voters can still hope to make it to the rolls.
