Special Train on Feb 4 to worship Surya NarayanaSwami on Ratha Saptami
Inspite,
Sun travels through the avenue in the same quantity, because of its difference
in travelling the planet sphere during the Uthirayana and Thashinayana period,
earth is getting the difference of day and night.
Ratha
Sapthami is nothing but the travel of Sun in the north direction during the
Uthirayana period. To worship Surya NarayanaSwami on Ratha Sapthami, Indian
Railway Food and Tourist Association will lead a special Baratha Tharisana
Tourist train. This train will cover the Surya Narayanaswami temple in
Arasavalli; Kanaga Durga Temple in VijayaWada; Maha Nandhi temple in Nandiya.
This train
will function on 4 February and routes from Madurai via Dindukal, Karur, Erode,
Salem and Chennai Central station. This tour package will be of 6 days and cost
Rs.3355 per head.
This cost
includes the second class train ticket, south Indian vegetarian food, hotel
