Tamil Nadu Chief Minister inaugurates emergency block at govt hospital

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa inaugurated through video conferencing a multi-storey medical and emergency services block at the government Stanley Medical College and Hospital on Monday.
To save time and improve coordination among staff, the hospital has brought all emergency services departments under one roof. The building, which has been under construction for more than a year, has seven floors and will house departments of medicine, nephrology transplant, dialysis, emergency surgical, poison treatment and intensive care units.
