Immediate actions on bribery

As a step to solve various corruptions across the city, the municipal administration, together with the water supply department, will have a meeting with the Chennai Corporation and metro water. A Bangalore based NGO Janaagraha maintains an anti-corruption website called ipaidabribe.com. In this, they have reported that a sum of 31 lakh is paid as bribe in Chennai in the past three years.
When enquired to a government official, he stated that the website report has induced them to take immediate actions.
