Tamil Nadu SSLC & HSC Public Exam 2026 - 17.61 Lakh Students to Appear

Around 17.61 lakh students from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry will appear for the SSLC (10th) and HSC (12th) Public Exams 2026 under the state board syllabus.
Tamil Nadu School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi announced that new guidelines have been issued to ensure smooth conduct of the exams. According to the Tamil Nadu School Education Department, Class 12 exams will be held from March 2 to March 26, while Class 10 exams will take place from March 11 to April 6, 2026.
Practical exams are scheduled in February 2026. Students are advised to check official updates and prepare accordingly.
