Depression in the bay to cross Tamil Nadu today

Tamil Nadu will experience heavy rains as the depression over the Bay of Bengal is expected to cross the state�s coast on Saturday. The forecast has prompted revenue administration to be on alert.
"The depression over the Bay of Bengal moved southwest and lay centered at about 420 km east-southeast of Nagapattinam. The system would move northwest direction and cross north Tamil Nadu coast near Nagapattinam on Saturday evening", Deputy Director General of Meteorology, S R Ramanan said on Friday.
