Tamil Nadu Government permits extra shows on the occasion of Deepavali

The Tamil Nadu State Government has allowed extra shows in theaters for four days from Tuesday. The Tamil Nadu Film Exhibitors� Association has thanked the State government for allowing extra shows in theatres for four days from Tuesday.
According to a press release from the Association, the government has also permitted them to screen shows at 9 a.m. on Deepavali and the following day. Theatre owners can screen additional shows after notifying the respective district collectors and officials of the commercial taxes department, the release said.
