The new system automatically adjusts compressor output to match real-time plant demand by smartly recirculating airflow inside the machine. This ensures delivery always equals demand, offering VFD-like energy savings with the reliability of fixed-speed units.
Highlighting the need, ELGi said most factories face fluctuating compressed air demand, but fixed-speed compressors continue to run at constant output — leading to energy losses, pressure fluctuations, and higher wear.
