Important!! Written examination for drivers & conductors jobs in TN on 27th July!!
How many are aware of the fact that under the divisions of 8 transport corporations in Tamil Nadu more than 22000 buses are being operated on more than 10,000 routes every day? Sound`s incredible isn`t it!!
It must be recalled that the vacant posts of drivers-conductors to operate the buses on these routes remained vacant till now. Point is that after the TN government under Mr. M.K. Stalin took over as many as 685 posts were filled in the express transport corporations. Moreover, jobs were also provided to those heirs on compassionate grounds. It is noteworthy that applications were invited in the month of March for as many as 3274 driver and conductor posts through the website www.arasubus.tn.gov.in.
Notifications have been issued to fill up the vacancies for 364 posts in MTC, 318 posts in express transport corporation, 322 in Villupuram division, 756 in Kumbakonam division, 486 in Salem division, 344 in Coimbatore division, 322 in Madurai division and 362 in Nellai division. On 21st of April, applications were sent.
More than 25000 people have applied for the vacant driver and conductor posts. The written examination would be held on 27th of July 2025. At 15 centres across TN, the written examination would be held. Information gathered is that at the Anna University campus in Chennai also a written exam would be held. Beginning from 21st July, the hall tickets for the written exam could be downloaded. After the completion of written examination, practical examination would be held.
