Financial assistance to be provided on the occasion of Tamil Nadu Day!!
The Thiruvavaduthurai T.N. Rajaratnam Arangam, Muthamizh Peravai, Adyar, Chennai would be buzzing with activities tomorrow.
On 18th July, Tamil Nadu Day would be celebrated. On this occasion, the TN Development Department would provide financial assistance to 100 senior Tamizh scholars. Information gathered is that a special seminar and an award function for the students have been organised.
According to a press release from the TN Development Department on 18th July our state was named as Tamil Nadu and every year this day is celebrated as Tamil Nadu Day. The ceremony would be held in the above mentioned Rajaratnam arangam in Adyar.
Details about the special seminar etc:
It is now revealed that under the chairmanship of Mr. J. Rajamoorthy, Director of Dept of Medical and Rural Affairs a special seminar would be held.
Advocate Mr. T.Ramalingam, would address the seminar and the topic of the seminar would be `Perarignar Annaum Tamizhum`. It must be taken into note that orator Mangayarkarasi would address the seminar on the topic `Let`s Do Good Deeds for the Happy Tamil people`.
The function would witness a special invite Mr. M.P. Saminathan who is the minister for Tamil Development and Information. He would later distribute cash awards and certificates to those students who have won the state level essay and speech competitions. In this function, the special guest would also provide financial assistance to 100 Tamizh scholars plus deliver a special address.
