Change of colour in the TN government buses again - Whats happening exactly?
It was brought out that the TN government has decided to change the colour of the buses again.
It was later explained by some officials from the transport dept that TNSTC buses were operated in green colour. The colour changed to blue after the introduction of BS 4 buses. They added that in 2023 intercity buses were changed to yellow.
In most districts in TN, yellow buses have been operating and in this scenario reports have come out regarding colour change again.
It is now confirmed that those buses that would be in operation would have the upper part in black colour and lower part in grey colour with a border in yellow and white colours. Initially in these colours that are mentioned above, the buses would be provided to the workshops at places like Tirunelveli, Villupuram, Karur and Nagercoil. Later on, the buses with these colours would operate across TN.
Previously, the buses were painted in just a single colour but now different colours are used to paint the buses to make them appear like omni buses. This was according to some officials from the transport dept.
