Chennai Suburban Train Update: 26 Services Cancelled on July 8 & 10 for Track Maintenance

Southern Railway has announced the cancellation of 26 suburban train services on July 8 and 10, owing to essential maintenance work on the Gummidipoondi–Ponneri railway section.
The maintenance activity is scheduled between 9:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m., during which regular train operations between Chennai – Gummidipoondi – Sulurpet will be affected.
To ease passenger inconvenience, special suburban trains will be operated between Chennai Central, Ponneri, Meenjur, and Ennore during the maintenance period.
Passengers are advised to check train timings in advance and plan their travel accordingly.
