Ranking list for the Veterinary courses in TN to be released next week!!
For those students who are interested in studying veterinary medicine courses in Tamil Nadu, here comes an important piece of news!!
In this academic year as many as 25544 students have applied for veterinary medicine courses in Tamil Nadu. Their applications would be reviewed and the ranking list would be released next week.
Under the TN University of Veterinary Sciences, there are 7 veterinary colleges across TN in places such as Chennai, Namakkal, Tirunelveli, Orathanadu, Salem Thalaivasal, Udumalaipet and Theni based Veerapandi etc. In these colleges there are 660 B.V. Sc (Animal Husbandry or AH) seats available for 4 five and half years veterinary medicine and care.
In the College of Food and Dairy Technology in Goduveli in the Tiruvallur district, there are 40 seats available for the B. Tech (Food Technology) course. There are also 20 seats available for B. Tech (Dairy Technology) course in that same college.
In Krishnagiri district Hosur based Poultry Production and Management College there are 40 seats available for B. Tech in Poultry Technology course. These 3 B. Tech courses are of the duration of 4 years.
It is well known that from 26th May to 20th June 2025, student’s registration in this year for B.V. Sc (AH) courses and B. Tech courses were carried out on the website https://adm.tanuvas.ac.in.
Point is that a total of 25544 students have applied out of which for the B.V. Sc in Animal Husbandry course as many as 20516 students have applied for the B. Tech course as many as 5028 have applied. Work has been going on now regarding the application reviewing.
In the next week, the TN University of Veterinary Sciences would release the rank list of the eligible students.
