Applications for Typing, Shorthand & Accounting exams in TN can be submitted from Today!!
From Today, 1st of July 2025, the applications for typing, shorthand and accounting examinations could be submitted and the exams would be held in the month of August in Tamil Nadu. This was according to the Directorate of Technical Education or DOTE.
It is known that typing, shorthand and accounting exams are conducted by the DOTE twice a year in February and in August. The notification for the August month exams have been issued.
An announcement in this regard was made by J. Innocent Divya, Commissioner of Technical Education. As per the announcement, those candidates who are interested to appear for typing, shorthand and accounting exams to be held in August month could apply with the help of website www.dte.tn.gov.in from 1st of July 2025.
It is said that the applications must be completed online and submitted by 28th. Corrections in the online application could be carried out from 30th July to 1st August 2025.
Details regarding exam fee etc:
The examination fee for the fresher`s is Rs 100 for UG examination, Rs 120 for intermediate examination and Rs 130 for PG examinations. A fee amount of Rs 200 must be paid for advanced examination.
