Apollo Hospitals in Chennai launches a joint care programme to help the patients!!

These days, there are many people who suffer from joint pain. These persons find their lives very difficult due to the pain in their joints and they are forced to depend on others even for their routine works.
Now, the superb news that has come out is that Apollo Hospitals have launched a joint care programme for the people. The launching of this joint care programme took place at a private hostel at Nungambakkam. Important personalities who made their presence felt at the launch were senior Radiologist Dr. N. Chidambaranathan, senior orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Navaladi Shankar, senior orthopaedic surgeon Dr. K.P Kosigan, senior consultant joint replacement and arthropic surgeon Dr. Madhan Mohan Reddy and senior consultant orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Arun Kannan and TN men`s cricket team head coach Mr. Senthilnathan plus few others etc.
Dr. Arun Kannan later spoke about how the Apollo Joint Care program was launched as a medical care program. He added that this programme would be able to detect joint issues at an early stage and would provide individualised treatments. Point is that Apollo Joint Care programme is an initiative that has created a turning point regarding how we approach joint care. The main advantage of this programme would be that it would enable the patents to access advanced non-surgical and minimally invasive treatments. This would help the patients to maintain range of motion and their pain would be reduced. Point is that the overall joint function of the patients would be better.
The main aim behind this new programme would be to delay the surgery as much as possible for the patients plus to help them to live active and independent for as long as possible. This joint care programme has been designed for those who suffer from arthritis, inflammation or sports related injuries etc.
